I chose reincarnation because that was the closest thing that could describe my thoughts on what would happen after we die.
In essence, we are energy and energy can't die. This means that the energy has to be recycled or it just floats around wasted, (this could probably explain the thesis on ghosts) but I believe that the world has a delicate balance of energy and whenever energy gets dispersed, the earth will absorb some of the surplus energy to re-balance itself.
And this energy will then be given to create new life, be it another human, insect or plant.

I would like to believe that there is an afterlife, where our conciousness can go to meet up with past family members or friends, but I can't be sure so I try to lead a full life.
