I heard it through a couple of times and my first impression is that it sounded rather random. The rythmic patterns(?) of each instrument doesn't seem to cohere with the others, and I didn't catch any form of coherence between the harmonic and melodic parts of the music either. How have you made it, and what have you been thinking while you made it? You should absolute continue doing this, I just want to know your thoughts about the piece you have made.

Totally agreed with what Les Ténèbres said above. I suggest you first learn to play some instrument, before start writing music. Because, to write music you must have at last basic knowledge of composting, harmony, music theory and other stuff - rhythms and all . Or at last to know witch notes match with what chords, with is easily learn by practicing different scales. And playing some instrument can only be helpful with learning all this :) . Although you don't HAVE to learn to play instrument if you want to composite, but you have to know the basics :), you cant just hit the notes randomly, if you want it to sound nice. So, don't give it up, work on it ^ ;)

I moved the topic to a more suitable forum by the way.

What gardening ??? :P

The word cacophony came to mind, all it takes is practise. If you want it....do it. I'm a crap guitarist, bass player, I can't program my synths, I can barely play keyboard, I can read a lil music, don't know any scales or anything like that. I'm managing! Though I attempt to better myself in all these areas at all times!
It takes time. The virtuosos of this world have practised many hours, everyday for the vast majority of their lives. Its not easy.
Keep working though.
Good luck

thanks for the encouragement :D therefore i have continued experimenting with fruity loops 9 software for rendering music. i am becoming more familiar with the software and feel i have improved.

@Beerman- i know what you mean now that i look back at that first sample i made, let me know if you still think i should give up after critiquing my new sample lol.

so here it is instrumental3.mp3
